What is your take on automated error handling vs. going through log files?

I’m been programming since child legs in everything from “basic” to assembly language.

A few years ago I had enough of crappy error pages, exception messages without context that I’ve forgot to to include in the log.

So I started working on OneTrueError and have put everything together during late nights after work at the same time as I’ve got a second child, built a new house and had a tragedy in the family.

Now that we’ve finally funded we’re starting with this seriously.

Thus what you see here started from utter frustration due to crappy error handling and ended with OneTrueError, a product based on a lot of love and passion.

However, it might be our passion. But what do you think? Is it your salvation too? What can we do better? What works for you?

@jgauffin First of all, thank you very much for the impressive realization of this great idea! :love_you_gesture:

I do hope so, but I am very optimistic!

I would really love to see a dark theme in the future since that would help at working at night.

Dark Theme for night sessions

I’d also like to chime in and thank you for this great product. I’m a bit of a error/exception handling fanaticus myself, so having a centralised monitoring system is like a dream.

The dark theme sounds good, but for now f.lux helps during nightly work sessions

I’ll let you know if I come across something worth improving during use. For now thanks again!
